Complete Running MG Midget Engine & Transmission 1977. Has been completely steam cleaned. Good used running engine & transmission removed from a 1977 MG Midget. Exact Mileage on speedo was 74,533. The starter went bad on this MG about 10 years ago and it has sat ever since. The car was completely rotted from sitting. We pulled the eng/trans and installed a good used starter on it. We primed it/hot wired it and it started right up and ran. Float was stuck and carb leaked gas. The carb will need to be taken apart and cleaned or rebuilt. Engine will also need to be tuned up and oil changed. Last owner said it ran good till the starter gave out. Comes complete with: Alt, starter, coil, Dist, water pump, transmission, shifter with knob, rubber motor mounts, fan belt and fan. There is no fuel pump because the car had an electric pump on it.
